Umaira Ahmad, An eminent novelist and screenwriter, is respected and famous for her narrations mostly on love, faith, patience, human conditions, and self-realization. However, one of her profound books named, “Dar Bar E Dill”, is famous due to its extraordinary example and valuable massage of the readership for her readers to teach them the meaning of real love, faith, patience, emotional intelligence, self-identity, and discovery which are now the basic need of our new generation to read and learn the truth about today’s love specially through the social media where most of our generation, the youth and our future builders are involved in.
Dar Bar E Dill, which is translated as “The Court Of Love,” explains the love of the two young people, which results in a religious being in love. Ahmad’s characters have lyrical prose character development, allowing the readers to experience the inner conflicts of the characters and a change in their mindset.
At its core, the book is a main source of the romantic relationships and complexities that both the characters face. Here it mentions the desires of both the characters being opposite of each other where the girl, regardless of wishing and praying good from God, begs for her desire which results in distracting and making the girl the type of Ahamd. It sheds light on the realization that love is not only an emotion but a proper commitment to the future life and can either be a source of destruction or an example for thousands of other people, especially our generation.
One of the most important and compelling themes of Dar Bar E Dill is its self-identity and self-realization. In a world where social connections are fake and temporary, Dar Bar E Dill clearly illustrates how the characters get connected and fall in love where both the characters have different faiths and meanings for the word love. It gives the message of self-realization where the girl loses the path of God only by the fear of losing the guy she loves and at the end of the story she understands what she did was wrong. In today’s world, the same thing is happening in our real life where instead of trusting the destination God has created, we become impatient for worldly things and temporary feelings which make us go against the better options that God has already made for us. The same thing happens in the narration of Umaira Ahmad. In the story the girl only asks for the desire she has where the God coverts her into the type her lover wants.
In a world where the relationships are depicted as the sense of superficiality, Dar Bar E Dill stands as the beacon of emotional intelligence. In this book, Umaira Ahmad strongly tries to explain the importance of relationships through faith, metual understanding and a realistic fact of the emotions where the book request to have the glance where the actions of the people and the situation can be a sign of not loosing faith, trusting God’s destination where it is a fact that if we rely on the desires of God we get the best of what we want while if we go against the decision of God and insist on our desires, we do get but not in the profound way just like the end of the book where the girl realizes that the person she changed herself for was just an evil distracting her of her faith and made her be against the destiny that God had chosen for her which leads her to stand at the court of her own heart being the victim of the destruction of her own life.
This book is an example of the destruction what our generation is newly facing and there are thousands of real life stories where people are now standing at the court of their hearts regretting the conditions where they have created themselves. This story clearly explains that life is easy but we make it difficult with our negative thoughts, such as being impatient, quickly losing faith, and not trusting God’s will. As a lesson, I want to provide the message that still we have time to learn from Dar Bar E Dill and should stand on the court of our hearts before making the mistakes that might have no comeback. We must believe that destiny is decided in the best of ever expected but it only needs a light of trust in the creator instead of that temporary pacification that leads to regret.
