The short and intense war between the two arch rivals – India and Pakistan- has changed the geopolitical calculus of South Asia. Its reverberations are felt in South Asia, the Middle East and the whole of the globe.
Creation of Pakistan on 14 Aug 1947 was a miracle of the 20th century. Pakistan becoming the first Islamic nuclear state in May 1998 was another miracle. Achievement of spectacular victory against megalomaniac India in May 2025 was the third miracle, which has astounded the world and stunned India.
India’s Operation Sindhoor

In retaliation to the false flag operation at Pehlgam tourist resort on 22 April, the blame of which was put on Pakistan without carrying out investigations or providing evidence, India upped the ante by creating war hysteria and suspending the Indus Water Treaty.
IAF launched Operation Sindhoor at midnight of 6/7 May to strike civilian targets in six cities of Punjab and AJK including mosques and religious seminaries. The plea taken was that terrorist camps were targeted. 32 innocent civilians, mostly women and children lost their lives, and 46 were injured.
Operation Sindhoor turned into an oven for India, when PAF struck back. It won the first round against jingoist India comprehensively by delivering a Knockout punch immediately after the unprovoked attacks. PAF chose only military targets and IAF’s six fighter jets – three Rafael, one SU 30, one MiG 29 and one Mirage 2000- were gunned down without incurring any loss. More could be struck down had the pilots not been told to exercise restraint.
India’s Vikrant aircraft carrier was deployed in the Northern Arabian Sea with a view to affect a sea blockade and to target Karachi harbor. Vigilance and alertness of Pakistan Navy deterred the menacing intruder, and it considered it safe to exit from the scene.
India was shocked, flabbergasted and scared after PAF achieved air superiority within one hour. India had not expected such a swift backlash, since it was made to believe by its mentors that Pakistan will refrain from striking back. This story has now been twisted by India, asserting that Pakistan itself had given such an assurance. It was yet another wishful assumption of India to underestimate Pakistan.
The IAF had to shift its air power from forward to backward posture to save the jets from further destruction.
Flabbergasted by reverses, India launched its second offensive with Israeli supplied Heron drones on 8 May in 11 cities . All the 84 intruding drones were shot down by our air defence troops and the people like ducks. There was not a trace of fear or panic. Rather, the people took it as a sport.
In desperation, India targeted Pakistan airbases on the night of 9/10 May with Brahmos missiles (Bulari, Jacobabad, Sarfaraz Rafiqui, Sargodha, Nur Khan), but most of the missiles were intercepted and destroyed in the air. Minor damages were quickly repaired and all the bases were made operational.
India’s offensives were aimed at compromising Pakistan’s nuclear deterrence, and to open avenues for limited wars in selected areas, or for a major ground offensive combined with sea offensive.
Operation “Bunyan Al Marsus“

10 May was the day of Pakistani Shaheens and tigers. After destroying S-400 battery systems at Adampur and Bhuj, BrahMos missiles depots at Beas and Nagrota, BrahMos missiles depot, 80% of electric grids, jamming its satellite communications, and hacking India’s defence websites, PAF was at liberty to destroy India’s air bases at will. 11 airbases including Srinagar, Akhnoor, Bhatinda in IOK were destroyed. Pakistani drones went as far forward to Delhi, Gujarat and Suratgarh and returned unscathed. There was panic in India, and all the civil and military leaders took shelter in nuclear bomb proof bunkers.
A total of 26 military targets were engaged and destroyed by the Pakistan Armed Forces. This is supported by SH-15 field artillery, short-range rockets, Al Fateh-1 and 2 missiles, caused havoc along the LoC and Kashmir. Forward posts, two Bde HQs (10 and 80) at KG Top and Naushera, Bn HQ at Peersar top in Leepa, supply depot at Uri, radar centre (not communication), radar centre at Poonch, as well as terrorist training camps were destroyed. They managed to capture spaces in Barnala and Rajauri sectors, 8 km deep.
In several sectors, Indian troops had to wave white flags to be able to retrieve dead bodies. Their casualties were very heavy.
Pakistan gained a decisive military edge on ground and in the air, achieved superiority of strategic orientation, and was in a position to exploit its gains and to negotiate with India from the position of strength. Pakistan’s nuclear deterrence was fully restored.
On the diplomatic front, India was again a loser, since it has been unable to furnish evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pehlgam incident, and is also shying away from a neutral probe.
Impact of the War

The short war between India and Pakistan from the night of 6/7 May to 10 May proved the superiority of Chinese technology, radars, electronic warfare and missiles effectiveness over the Russian, Israeli and French technologies.
Shooting down two invincible Rafael jets, which are the mainstay of NATO’s military power, destruction of the S-400 AD system rated as the best in the world, destruction of 90 Israeli Heron drones like sitting ducks, were huge setbacks for India and its strategic partners.
Methodical cooperation and coordination between the three military services, meticulous synchronization and coordinated networking of ground and airborne radars, electronic warfare and jamming techniques with China’s satellite, imaginative use of cyberspace and AI, and calibrated responses outclassed India.
Pakistan won the war conventionally without using tactical nuclear weapons, and shattered India’s massive superiority in conventional war.
It was amazing and fascinating for the world to see David flooring Goliath in the shortest war, rolling the honour and prestige of fire breathing Modi, and humiliating the South Asian bully.
India proved to be a very weak bulwark against China and a policeman of the Indo Pacific region. Its forces had received a sound beating at the hands of China’s PLA in 2020, and now at the hands of six times smaller and weaker Pakistan.
The technologies of Russia, Israel, France have been undermined, and demand for China’s jets and technology has vastly increased.
The formidable strategic depth of the China-Pakistan alliance—in air, sea, land, space, and nuclear domains— served not only as a deterrent but as a recalibrating force.
Pakistan’s outstanding victory has raised its image sky-high, and has rejuvenated the sagging spirits of the Kashmiris in IOK and the Palestinians in Gaza. It has reminded the Arab leaders that nothing is impossible, that Chinese technology is superior and it is cheap and guaranteed.
China, Turkiye, Azerbaijan emerged as iron brothers of Pakistan. The Middle East Muslim countries taking a neutral stance was also a diplomatic victory for Pakistan. The only letdown was Afghanistan, which stood in the Indian camp but didn’t take part in the war. Iran’s condemnation of loss of civilians lives on 6/7 night was another diplomatic gain for Pakistan.
For the first time, several countries including the US, Britain expressed their keenness to mediate, and to make the talks on the negotiating table productive.
India’s Age-Old Penchant for Fakery
True to its tradition, India is trying to convert its humiliating defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the five day war into victory through media war and fake news.
India is fooling its people and vainly trying to convince the world that India achieved victory and Pakistan begged for a ceasefire.
Narrative of Operational Pause
Licking its wounds of shame and humiliation, India and its supporters in Pakistan have circulated a narrative which is on the lips of every second Pakistani, that India is down but not out, and very soon it will regroup, remove its shortfalls and strike back with a vengeance. It is a far cry and an illusionary thought.
Shameless Modi chimed, “If Pakistan wants to survive, it will have to destroy its terror infrastructure.” He cautioned that New Delhi had “only paused” its military action — Dawn News.
India is the Biggest Terrorist State

Pakistan unequivocally, rubbish India’s stupid innuendo that it supports terror in any way, shape, or form. Pakistan in fact, is a victim of terrorism, actively fomented, supported, and financially propped-up, by blighted India. It doesn’t need to be reminded of RAW’s activities in concert with the enemies of peace and security.
India has been acting like a bully in South Asia and has been using terrorism as a weapon of war since 1971 to coerce and intimidate its neighbours. After 9/11, India gave a big boost to its policy of cross border terrorism through hired proxies against Pakistan.
The funded, trained and equipped proxies in KP and Baluchistan were repulsed, bloodied, and chucked out from former FATA. Billions of dollars spent by India and its partners in crimes went down the drain.
India managed to once again re-establish its terror tentacles in Afghanistan and Iran and recommenced the second wave of terrorism in Dec 2021 to accomplish its unfinished agenda. In the 2nd round, India took on board the Kabul regime, TTP, BLA, PTM, BYC, and PTI to weaken Pakistan from within by pushing Pakistan to the brink of civil war. 9th May 2023 was the final phase which led to the war from 7 to 10 May 2025.
Reasons Behind India’s Misadventure
One of the motivating factors which impelled Modi to hasten military action was the dismal plight of India’s proxies due to tough action by Pak security forces and their resolve to root out the scourge of terrorism this year. PTI’s pitiable situation was another worrying factor. Above all, Pakistan’s economic takeoff, which was indigestible.
The rumor mongers forget that India optimally used its power potential to defeat Pakistan. It was very confident of victory due to the host of Pakistan’s internal weaknesses and vulnerabilities, in which India had a big role.
India Fell into Holes it Dug for Pakistan
All the seeds sown by India and all the holes dug by India to trap and dismember Pakistan went haywire, and India itself fell into the hell holes. India is paying heavily for its misadventure.
Today, Indian society is divided, the Indian military is demoralised, the people have stopped respecting their military forces and are abusing the generals, the Indian Sikhs have veered towards Pakistan, and Indian soldiers are itching to revolt. The 18 major separatist movements in India have been reactivated, and Modi has lost his face and his political standing at home and abroad. It is India which is in danger of getting fragmented and not Pakistan.
A thoroughly spanked and knocked out opponent losing its precious war assets and suffering a financial loss of 83 billion dollars in the first two days of the war, takes a considerable length of time to balm physical and mental wounds and to regain balance.
Celebrations in Pakistan, Mourning in India

There are celebrations in Pakistan. In India, after the spell of mourning and anger, Modi and his hawks are sheepishly trying to celebrate their humiliating defeat by narrating fairytales of victory.
India is left with nothing to browbeat Pakistan except to shield its embarrassment of getting beaten and its huge war losses behind the smokescreen of lies and fake news. Their acrobats are meant to dampen Pakistan’s spectacular victory, but they have become a source of amusement and fun making for Pakistanis and a laughing stock in the world. Their roars and threats are hollow.
India’s Backers Backed Out
Successive defeats and setbacks in the three rounds disillusioned India’s traditional backers and they withdrew their patronising hands from the shoulders of Modi. He was told to cool down and de-escalate the situation.
The US would have continued to support India, had it won the first round of aerial intrusions, or the drone war, or the third round on the night of 9/10 May.
After India’s humiliating failures, Washington concluded that India was in no position to win the war and could suffer more reverses if Operation Bunyan Al Marsus was allowed to proceed further. Pakistan forces were well poised and motivated to accomplish all their objectives remaining within the spectrum of conventional ladder. Hence, the best course was to de-escalate and defuse the situation.
The US couldn’t afford another hot front, and that too between the two nuclear enemies, when it is enmeshed in the Ukraine war, genocidal war in Gaza, the Middle East crisis including the standoff with Iran, and trade war with rising China.
For the first time, India found itself at a loss on all the fronts including the information war. The worst setback was the coolness of the USA, which refused to accept India’s narrative on Pahalgam and its war mongering.
Should India be Let off the Hook?

The US diplomatic efforts of the US, the UK and others were aimed at letting India off the hook. Would it suit Pakistan to once again let India get away after committing crimes against humanity?
Was the ceasefire in favour of Pakistan? Pakistan’s ground forces were tactically and operationally in a formidable position to go for deeper targets and seize sensitive spots under the cover of air umbrella.
Negotiations
So far two rounds of talks between the four DG MOs have taken place and the meeting of NSAs is scheduled on 22 May. India is taking advantage of the delay to prepare its talking points and build a strong case. While India has stuck to its old agenda of terrorism only, Pakistan has spelled out the agenda of talks, which hinge upon resolution of Kashmir dispute, terrorism by proxies, and water terrorism by India.
The current impasse of India must be exploited by Pakistan to obtain guarantees that it should refrain from false flag operations, terrorism through proxies, water terrorism to stop water, and to maintain good neighborly relationship with Pakistan.
The reason to exercise restraint was the presence of 57 commercial flights including foreign flights in Pakistan airspace at that time.
Pakistan should demonstrate a similar firmness and doggedness in its negotiations as it had exhibited in the battlefield, and must not make any compromises on national interests.
Future War Preparations
Humiliating defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the shortest and swiftest war has shocked Modi and his fascist party beyond measure. Instead of humbling Pakistan, India was humbled. It is inconceivable and unacceptable for the RSS controlled fascist regime of BJP.
India, Israel and the US have a fixed agenda of disabling Pakistan’s nuclear program. It is an unfinished agenda for which they will keep conspiring and looking for opportunities to undo Pakistan.
In the next two to three months, India would overcome war losses, induct better quality jets, weapons, technology, avionics, radars, and air defence systems to match China’s wherewithal, and then launch another false flag operation to malign Pakistan and drum up war. During the intervening period, India would try to accentuate Pakistan’s existing vulnerabilities and double funds for its proxies.
To overcome its military weaknesses, India has announced its intention to vastly increase the defence budget. India intends to spend Rs 50 trillion to enhance its military strength in the space in collusion with the USA.
The US intends to develop a missile platform in space from where it could destroy any jet entering the space. Probably , it will be China’s J 36 jets specific. It will also operationalise its 6th generation F-35A stealth fighter jets.
Exuberant China is likely to hand over J 35 stealth jets to Pakistan by coming Dec, which will further enhance the defence and offence capabilities of PAF.
China is developing 6th generation stealth J 36 jets which will have the capacity to fly into space and then home on to the targets without getting detected or intercepted.
China has laid claims over Arunachal Pradesh saying it is part of Southern Tibet, and China and has named it Zhangnam. It is also building the world’s largest dam in that area, which will control the river water of all the rivers to lower riparian countries including India.
The next bout would either be in Zhangnam, or in Taiwan, or Iran, and not Pakistan.
