After the failure of the last call, the last card of a countrywide civil disobedience call from 14 December onwards has been given by the jailed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader Imran Khan (IK).

He has warned that if his two demands of releasing all political prisoners and forming a judicial commission to probe the 9 May incidents and crackdown on 26 November are not fulfilled by 14 December, the movement will take off.

The cult followers and the supporters of PTI have been told to boycott everything, stop paying all bills, and bring the state machinery to a grinding halt.

Imran Khan

A civil disobedience call had been given by Imran Khan in 2014 also and the people were told not to pay electricity bills. The call fizzled out very soon since the elites in the party including IK didn’t have the strength to live without an electric supply.

This time, the boycott has much wider dimensions; other than stirring chaos and anarchy at a bigger scale and probably co-opting JUI F to join the movement, another element of boycotting Askari products produced by Fauj Foundation and other business oriented organizations of the army has been added.

This clause has been added to express PTI’s resentment over the role of the Army on 26 November. The party alleges that the Army troops deployed in Islamabad had resorted to direct firing and had killed a large number of its workers. No proof of this absurd lie has so far been given and the reliance is on the ever-changing statements of the PTI leaders, the wanted journalists sitting abroad, Al-Jazeera, Western and Indian media.

The big lie has been exposed, but the party leaders and PTI’s social media are keeping the issue alive. To cover up their embarrassment, the spin doctors are now trying to confuse the issue by alleging that hundreds of PTI workers are missing, believed killed. This theme is similar to the Baloch rebel groups to put the security forces on the defensive.

The call of the boycott has been given in desperation after IK played all his cards to topple the Govt. This card is designed to force the govt to submit to his demands, or as a minimum to disrupt development works, and to create uncontrollable chaotic conditions in the country.

He and his brainwashed party leaders are least concerned that Pakistan’s economy is in dire straits since 2022, and it is at the brink of default, and that with great difficulty, the dwindling economy has been stabilized to some extent, and the country is on its way to progress. Shahbaz Sharif’s untiring efforts, Maryam’s dynamism, General Asim Munir’s vibrant backup support, and the laudable role of SIFC have upturned the economic graph.

Pakistan Gdp Growth

All economic indicators are moving from negative to positive and the overall environment is getting better for foreign investments and progress.

Pakistan Army’s products are a force multiplier for our economy and their earnings are used for the welfare of ex-servicemen, and a source of relief to families of Shuhada and Ghazis.

These organizations have never defaulted, or run into losses, and have never sought a bailout package from the govt. Their accounts are thoroughly audited and about 90% of the employees are civilians. Fauji Fertilizer (FFC) produces 50% of the total production of fertilizer.

Due to robust leadership, efficient management, well-knit team work and merit based induction, these institutions have expanded and are acting as role models for all the public sector orgs which are in disarray.

Those propagating to boycott Fauji Products are not sincere to Pakistan. Their sinister designs are to break the integrity of Pakistan Army and to cause irreparable harm to the country, which is already engulfed in multiple crises.

May I hazard to ask a question from the boycotters have they ever raised their voices to boycott Israeli products because of Israel’s genocide war against the Palestinians in Gaza since Oct 2023, and boycott Western products due to their support to the genocidal war in Gaza?

Have they ever demanded a boycott of Indian products in support of Kashmiri Muslims living in hell in Indian-Occupied Kashmir?

Fauji Boycott

Imran Khan wants to boycott all Fauji products but he forgets that PTI is the biggest beneficiary of the military establishment. Even though all the political parties have roots in the armed forces and were the beneficiaries as well as the victims, PTI has the deepest roots. Till 2013, it was a one-seater party, and thereon its fortunes were skyrocketed by the military establishment.

Almost all its former and current leaders have their family ties and special connections with the armed forces. PTI’s first secretary general was Maj Gen Mujibur Rehman, who laid the foundations of the party and wrote down its constitution. Gen Hamid Gul convinced Imran Khan to join politics and he became Gul’s disciple. While ZA Bhutto called Fd Marshal Ayub, Daddy, IK considered Gen Qamar Bajwa as his father and mentor. He declared him the best COAS and the best Democrat.

Let us visualize the implications of the boycott of Fauji products upon PTI itself as well as the cult followers who worship Imran Khan and see him as a Messiah.

Would the Fauj affiliated PTI leaders, workers cut off their links with their mother institution, or will they be shunted out? That would imply the whole party getting dissolved from within.

If they do not agree to cut off links with the Fauj and would remain confined to boycotting Fauji products, that would mean: giving up perks and privileges given by the Fauj; stop availing medical benefits like drawing all kinds of medicines, lab tests, admissions in military hospitals; cancel memberships in clubs and stop availing their services; stop bookings in messes and hill resorts; stop attending military functions and ceremonies; give up armed forces ranks; stop drawing monthly pensions and disability benefits; stop availing the jobs offered by armed forces welfare organizations; return the plots and houses in DHA, Askari villas/colonies, and agriculture and stud lands given by the military; stop visiting CSD and buying Fauji food products, stop availing the facilities provided to the families of Shaheed.

These sacrifices will have to be made by the cult followers and the PTI loving Pakistani expats who have invested a lot in DHA properties and big houses and have purchased shares in Fauji products.

Pakistanis

I would like to urge patriotic Pakistanis to remain aware of the extremely dangerous designs of our internal and external enemies and to remain vigilant. Those who are chanting anti-Pakistan and anti-army slogans and badmouthing the Pakistan Army must not forget the fate of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Yemen, and Somalia.

A small bunch of rebels had rebelled against the State and the Army, and had joined hands with foreign powers to achieve freedom and prosperity.

The external forces achieved their objectives and disheveled all those prosperous States due to their disunity and considering their own army as enemies and outsiders as their friends.

The external enemies couldn’t achieve their sinister motives in Pakistan because of herculean efforts of our security forces led by Pak Army and the ISI, and patriotism and resilience of the people. Each and every conspiracy and heinous plan was thwarted.

The enemies are now using the economic sword to bankrupt Pakistan economically, and making use of a political party and hired agents to destabilize the country and to create fissures within the Army with a view to weaken it from within.

These nefarious designs and plans will also fail (In’Sha’Allah) with the cooperation and support of the people of Pakistan.

The govt must proceed with its reform and development agenda to better the lives of the people and to make Pakistan economically self-reliant. It should also implement its policies to eliminate the menace of terrorism, the curse of fake news spread by social media, and to deal with the arsonists and anarchists with an iron hand.

Live Long Pakistan Armed Forces ….. May Pakistan Lasts Forever!
