A high-level delegation from the Majlis e Shura of the Sultanate of Oman: His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Ramadhan Qasim AL Balushi; His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Ali Sulaiman AL Balushi; His Excellency Mr. Mahmood Akhtar Ali AL Balushi; His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ali Mohammed AL Hamidi AL Saadi; His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Masoud Awadh AL Ubathani; and hounarable entrepreneur Mr. Shahid Gichki visited scenic hill station of Murree on 7th February at the invitation of the Centre for Development and Stability (CDS).
The delegation, led by prominent members of the Majlis e Shura, explored the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Murree, one of Pakistan’s most popular mountain resorts.
The delegation strolled along the iconic Mall Road, the heart of Murree, lined with shops and restaurants. The Omani parliamentarians expressed deep admiration for Murree’s natural splendor and its role as a symbol of Pakistan’s diverse tourism potential. They described it as a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
This visit to Murree forms part of the delegation’s broader tour in Pakistan. CDS facilitated the tour to showcase Pakistan’s rich tourism landscape and foster people-to-people connections between Pakistan and Oman.
The Omani delegation expressed gratitude for the warm reception. This visit underscored the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Oman, rooted in shared values, historical ties, and mutual respect.
