The Tactics of the Banned JAAC
The banned JAAC kills innocent people and then criticizes the military, placing the blame on it. It also produces fabricated videos. Its thugs use women and children as human shields.
Human Shield
They place children and women at the front as a shield, while they themselves remain behind carrying all kinds of lethal weapons, including firearms, batons, slingshots, stones, and petrol bombs.
The plan of these despicable individuals is that whenever law-enforcement agencies move to disperse protesters in order to uphold the writ of the state and maintain law and order, they will push women and children to the front.
According to reliable sources from within the banned and violent JAAC, these people intend to first assault a number of women and children themselves. It is even possible that some may be killed. They would then record videos and place the blame on the State, attempting to exploit the resulting narrative of victimhood.
This is exactly the same method that we have seen being employed by groups such as the BLA, the TTP, and PTI: use women and children as shields, kill or make people disappear themselves, and then begin a campaign of portraying themselves as victims.
In other words, a handful of hired and disreputable individuals, disguising themselves as Kashmiris, are plotting to shed the blood of Kashmiris themselves.
Real Agenda
The leader of JAAC Shaukat Nawaz Mir has once again made headlines. He has described the situation in Azad Kashmir as being worse than that of Gaza and Srinagar. He has also called upon international organizations to take notice of the situation.
Coming after his recent expressions of solidarity with and affection for Pakistan, this tone and choice of words appear rather surprising.
In a statement issued on Friday, he had referred to Pakistan and Kashmir as two separate countries. At the time, many observers considered it a slip of the tongue.
However, in light of his latest statement, it now appears that the “two countries” remark may have been a deliberate and well-considered position rather than an inadvertent mistake.
Hurriyat Conference Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi Exposes Conspiracy Against the Kashmir Cause
Hurriyat Conference Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, has exposed what he described as a conspiracy being carried out on the streets of Azad Kashmir to undermine the struggle in Indian-administered Kashmir and has made several significant revelations.
Mr. Safi stated that attempts to spread an anti-Pakistan narrative under the guise of protests have failed, and that the Kashmiri people stand firmly with Pakistan.
He said that a handful of disruptive elements are creating unrest in Azad Kashmir and, in doing so, are strengthening the agenda of hostile forces.
He further stated that anti-Pakistan slogans raised during protests organized by the banned Action Committee do not represent the sentiments of the Kashmiri people. Constitutional and legal matters, he emphasized, should be resolved through the appropriate forums rather than on the streets.
The Hurriyat leader described anti-Pakistan propaganda as being contrary to the position of the Kashmiri people and warned that the actions of a few elements could adversely affect the Kashmir cause.
He said that those who remained silent over Indian actions in Kashmir are today engaged in an anti-Pakistan campaign, while the Kashmiri people value Pakistan’s political and diplomatic support.
According to him, Pakistan has consistently and vigorously advocated the Kashmir case at every international forum. He stressed that the bond between Pakistan and Kashmir is unbreakable, and that hostile forces seek to weaken the Kashmir cause by creating instability in Azad Kashmir.
He further stated that all pro-freedom groups stand with Pakistan and also disassociate themselves from anti-Pakistan elements. In his view, the anti-Pakistan campaign effectively serves to reinforce the Indian narrative.
The Hurriyat leader Safi concluded by saying that the Kashmiri people have complete confidence in Pakistan’s support and diplomatic efforts.
Therefore, he appealed to conscious, patriotic, and self-respecting Kashmiris, as well as all Pakistanis, to remain vigilant against what he described as the malicious and reprehensible designs of the banned JAAC.
Decision Taken to Further Tighten the Net Around the Banned JAAC
A decision has been made by State institutions and law-enforcement agencies to further strengthen measures against the network of the banned JAAC and its supporters.
According to sources, not only the organization’s active members but also the masterminds operating behind the scenes, the financial networks providing support, and the facilitators actions have begun in order to completely disable the organization’s network.
Some of the important members of JAAC have suddenly changed their stance. This change has come at a time when pressure around them had intensified and public anger had grown substantially.
The Imperative of Vigilance
The time has come for the people of Kashmir to remain vigilant and carefully discern the motives of those who, under the guise of championing rights and grievances, may be pursuing agendas that weaken their historic bonds with Pakistan while inadvertently or deliberately advancing interests contrary to their own.
The State, for its part, must uphold its writ firmly, consistently, and without hesitation. The issue has transcended the realm of ordinary political disagreement; it is increasingly viewed as a matter bearing directly upon Pakistan’s national cohesion, internal stability, and long-term strategic interests.
In such circumstances, clarity of purpose, national unity, and steadfastness become indispensable.
The Failed Show of the “JAAC” and the Current Situation
🔺 The banned JAAC put all its cards on the table, but ended up suffering a humiliating setback. It now finds itself in a position akin to the proverbial washerman’s dog—belonging neither to home nor to the riverbank.
🔺 The JAAC’s confused and hesitant leadership is under severe stress and is now reaching out to influential quarters, seeking a negotiated middle ground.
🔺 The leadership itself is divided, while public anger against the Committee continues to grow.
🔺 The JAAC has now realized that the government’s position is firm and unwavering. Particularly after old FIRs were revived, new cases were registered, and the sealing of their properties began, these traders have come to understand that they had entered into a losing venture.
🔺 The families of those innocent individuals who were misled into joining the unrest and lost their lives are now reportedly prepared to file cases against the Committee’s leadership. They have come to believe that their children were used as sacrificial pawns by these traders in pursuit of their own interests.
🔺 Transport services have remained suspended for a considerable period, leading to shortages of essential food items across the state. The JAAC is aware that if the situation continues, the ninety percent of Kashmiris who have so far remained peacefully in their homes may come out onto the streets and hold the leadership accountable. At that point, there may be nowhere left for them to hide.
As far as the government is concerned, its position is said to be crystal clear: all those involved in the unrest should peacefully end their sit-ins and return to their homes.
There will be neither a deal nor any leniency for those accused of creating disorder. The authorities have not yet employed even twenty percent of their available measures, and any further escalation or attempt to move towards Muzaffarabad would invite a much stronger response.
The State Objectives
The following are among the principal objectives:
- To further strengthen the ideology of accession to Pakistan and confront all challenges and movements that seek to undermine it.
- To maintain close ties with Kashmiri refugees residing in Pakistan so that these two pillars of the freedom movement can work together whenever necessary.
- To keep the Kashmir freedom movement alive and prevent any retreat on the political front.
- To make every possible effort to preserve the freedom and autonomy of Azad Kashmir.
- To maintain continuous intellectual and ideological preparedness in this region in view of Pakistan’s defensive frontier.
The objective is that, if India were to undertake military aggression or advance in the future—as current circumstances suggest—the resistance should not be carried out solely by Pakistan’s uniformed armed forces.
Rather, the two million men and women of the mountainous and warrior population of Azad Kashmir should also regard such resistance as their religious, moral, and national duty.
This state of preparedness is viewed as a positive and fitting response to India’s military ambitions and war preparations against Pakistan.
