Pakistan strikes Taliban Targets in Response to Afghan Aggression

27 February 2026

Pakistan’s armed forces have carried out effective airstrikes targeting key military installations of the Afghan Taliban regime in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia, security sources said.

According to the latest reports, two brigade headquarters were destroyed in Kabul during the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) strikes.

In Kandahar, one corps headquarters and one brigade headquarters were reportedly destroyed in the air operations, security sources added.

The airstrikes in Kandahar also targeted and destroyed an ammunition depot and a logistics base. During the operation, a corps headquarters in Paktia was also destroyed in a precise aerial strike by the PAF, according to security sources.

According to security sources, the unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban regime is being met with a decisive and effective response on both air and ground fronts.
Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared and capable of delivering a strong response to any aggression, security sources added.
